You are dealing with something in racism that is an evil permeating all
all cultures…The Love of Christ is the only thing that can heal it.

The book I thought was great. I like its…attitude the truth whether you like it or not.

Your book is pretty even handed. It covers a lot of ground.

With recent events highlighting racism in America, this is a timely word from Rev. Kelley. Racism in the evangelical church directly opposes everything we profess in the name of Jesus, making it fruitless in any effort to eliminate racism in society. Racism must be fought as a spiritual battle. Rev. Kelley calls the brothers in Christ to repent, follow God's command to love one another, openly denounce racism and take decisive action to end this scourge in the name of Christ.

The Scourge Of Racism book is thought provoking. I wonder how we can claim to be full of the Holy Spirit and still a racist in the church? …while we were utterly helpless Christ came at just the right time to save (all) us sinners.

Encourages believers to look in the mirror of God’s Word.
Gary McCants, Podcast Host
The book was well written on a delicate subject; reviewing racism from the outside and inside
(as) personal experience and in the general populace.
Pastor John, Vallejo, CA
The Scourge Of Racism is well written and factually on point. I would confess that I am bitter. As a people, we are always asking for equality still today. But I also have to confess what we go through is nothing compared to what Jesus had to go through for us. So, who do I think I am to be bitter? There is no promise of absent strife in this life only eternal life for obedience to God.

…a really grounded painting of the definition, history, impact, and biblical context of racism--with calls to action. Your personal anecdotes and examples of Hurricane Katrina and others are well written and illustrate the hurt caused by racism. Most of the discourse around racism I've seen has been online and it's highly politicized and divisive. The Scourge of Racism exposes all of it as sin. "Love covers a multitude of sins." This really spoke to me and I was actually thinking about this before I saw the chapter. It's not a simple or easy solution, but when you love someone you care about them and listen to them.
